Google may not challenge Japan's antitrust order on default search settings

Meanwhile, with a US federal court order mandating various remedies to address search monopolization and the imminent enforcement of a new smartphone law in Japan, MLex was told that it now appears Google may have opted not to contest the narrower, potentially more palatable Japanese order.
