Medical professionals urge EU to cut vehicles’ emissions due to health concerns

Fossil fuel combustion is a major source of nitrogen dioxide and fine particulate matter, which pose significant risks of respiratory illness, they said. Weakening or delaying the 2035 ban would endanger lives, prolong Europe’s reliance on fossil fuels, and undermine the fundamental right to clean air, they added.Full letter attached....
