USCIT largely supports Commerce in Italian pasta order
( September 3, 2025, 20:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: US Court of International Trade Chief Judge Mark Barnett mostly ruled for the Commerce Department in a challenge from Italian company Pastificio Gentile S.r.l. against a 2024 review of an antisubsidy order on pasta from Italy. Barnett said Commerce correctly determined the Italian company failed to provide sufficient information and was right to terminate a verification process early and impose a heavy duty rate. However, Barnett said Commerce must reconsider why it included Italian government programs that were non-countervailable or terminated.Ruling attached....
