Chegg urges US judge to reject Google's move to dismiss antitrust case

In a memorandum in opposition to Google's motion to dismiss Chegg's amended complaint, Chegg called itself "a direct victim of Google’s anticompetitive conduct." The plaintiff argued that in a competitive search market, Chegg could choose not to deal with Google and instead rely on traffic from other search engines. However, "because of Google’s exclusion of rivals from the search market, Chegg has no meaningful alternative," the plaintiff said. See court filing. ...
