Teradata opposes US Supreme Court review of antitrust case against SAP

( August 25, 2025, 17:05 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: SAP’s petition for US Supreme Court review of an antitrust case brought by Teradata seeks advisory answers to theoretical questions that are either not implicated by the case or that may not matter to its ultimate outcome once it proceeds, Teradata said in a brief opposing review. “Teradata’s tying claim is proceeding to trial regardless of the applicability of this court’s modified per se rule, because the Ninth Circuit found a triable factual dispute existed under the rule of reason as well—a disposition that SAP’s petition never challenges and hardly even acknowledges. If Teradata prevails under the rule of reason, there will be no need for this court to consider either question SAP presents,” it argued.See attached file. ...
