Vietnamese solar cellmaker says US Commerce erred with transnational subsidy ruling
( August 22, 2025, 16:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Vietnamese solar cell producer JA Solar Vietnam Co. and its affiliates said in a complaint filed at the US Court of International Trade that the US Commerce Department erred on nine counts in an April affirmative final antisubsidy determination on subject imports from Vietnam. JA Solar claims Commerce doesn't have legal authority to investigate subsidies from third-party countries, used incorrect data in the investigation and should not have excluded certain information relevant to the case, among other challenges.Complaint attached....
