SpaceX must register arrival after picking up hardware, US CBP says
( August 21, 2025, 15:37 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US Customs and Border Protection said in a May ruling now made public that SpaceX must report arrival and vessel entry after picking up hardware, such as rocket boosters, in the high seas and returning to US ports. CBP said droneships and support vessels from SpaceX are required to do so under 19 U.S.C. §§ 1433 and 1434, but tow boats are not subject to the requirements.See attached file....
