State bill updating Colorado AI Act advances in House

The House Business Affairs and Labor Committee voted to advance HB 25B-1008, which would require AI systems to disclose their “non-human” nature to consumers. It’s one of two proposals to amend the Colorado Artificial Intelligence Act that focus on making it clearer when consumers interact with AI tools. Another Colorado bill aimed at increasing transparency around AI systems is moving forward in a special legislative session....
