AAI backs Epic Games on appeal of injunction against Apple

( August 22, 2025, 21:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The American Antitrust Institute told a US appeals court that Apple’s “malicious compliance” as to an injunction imposed in an antitrust case brought by Epic Games preserved the unfair economic mechanism of its illegal conduct. “In an attempt to excuse its bad-faith tactics, Apple asks this court to severely cabin judicial authority, to declare a wide swath of routine remedial tools unconstitutional, and to require burdensome relitigation of liability each time a defendant flouts a court order,” AAI said in support of the injunction.  See attached file....
