ILSR files reply supporting bid to unseal US FTC's PespsiCo complaint

( August 22, 2025, 20:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Institute for Local Self-Reliance, or ILSR, submitted its reply brief in support of its request to unseal the US Federal Trade Commission's complaint against PepsiCo, which alleged that the snack and beverage company violated the Robinson-Patman Act. "Opposition to ILSR’s Motion is based largely on the FTC’s early dismissal of the Complaint and the Republican FTC commissioners’ disagreement with its merits," ILSR argued, and the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit "and its sister courts have, on more than one occasion, squarely addressed these arguments and rejected them."
