US Data Protection Review Court publishes rules of procedure to hear European privacy complaints
( May 19, 2025, 19:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The new US Data Protection Review Court has published its rules of procedure, setting up rules for how the court will hear privacy complaints by Europeans filed as part of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the international data transfer agreement between Europe and the US. The DPRC rules stipulate that the court will be independent from the executive branch. “The Court’s judges shall not be subject to the day-to-day supervision of the Attorney General," the rules say.See attached document....
