( August 22, 2025, 15:05 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US Court of International Trade sustained a 2021 Commerce Department antisubsidy order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from Vietnam in a case brought by Vietnamese producer Kumho Tire (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. CIT Judge Timothy Reif ruled the agency's court-ordered remand properly fixed issues on its decision to use US inflows as a proxy for currency conversions and why certain information from the Vietnamese government was not usable in relation to an investigation of currency undervaluation subsidies.
