USMCA panel backs US in Mexican labor dispute

( August 21, 2025, 21:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: A USMCA panel under the Rapid Response Labor Mechanism has agreed with the US in a labor dispute over Mexican company Atento Servicios and Mexican labor union Sindicato de Telefonistas de la República Mexicana. The panel found Atento guilty of a denial of rights at a call center in the Mexican state of Hidalgo and that Mexico had not taken sufficient action to address the problem.Panel decision is attached.
