Asahi's Melbourne real-estate deal notified under new Australian regime

In an entry in its mergers register, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Asahi’s transaction would be with real-estate investment manager GPT, which manages the property in the suburb of Deer Park. The public disclosure follows guidance offered by the regulator last week on how to manage leases under the new regime.
