Royal Belgian Ice Hockey Federation sees competition measures request rejected
( August 14, 2025, 16:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A request for interim measures against the Royal Belgian Ice Hockey Federation submitted by eight players and the Deutscher Inline Hockey Verband league has been rejected by the country's competition authority. The Belgian Competition Authority said the players and league had called for the measures on competition grounds after the Federation said it would sanction them for participating in an alternative roller hockey competition. However, the Federation had since ceased all its activities relating to inline hockey and consequently removed its sanctions on the players and league, the regulator said.
