Inform files reply for judgment, estoppel in Google US adtech monopoly case

( August 7, 2025, 17:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Media company Inform filed a reply supporting its motion for partial summary judgment and collateral estoppel against Google, claiming the tech giant "attempts to sow confusion where none should properly exist" regarding a ruling from the US Eastern District of Virginia on similar antitrust claims over adtech markets. The Virginia federal court "clearly defined the ad server and ad exchange markets; expressly found that Google had market power in those markets; and plainly defined certain anticompetitive acts undertaken by Google affecting those markets," Inform said in its filing to the US Southern District of New York. The court should preclude Google from relitigating the same issues for Inform's claims against Google over digital advertising markets, and grant its motion for partial summary judgment, the filing said.See attached document: ...
