US appeals court denies en banc rehearing of stay on PCLOB firings

( July 18, 2025, 19:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit has denied an en banc rehearing to determine if Travis LeBlanc and Edward Felton's firing from the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board should be stayed pending appeal by the US government. LeBlanc and Felten sued, alleging they were illegally fired. A district court judge agreed, ruling they should be reinstated. However, a three-judge DC Circuit panel stayed their reinstatement pending appeal.See attached document....
