Google files motion to dismiss new complaint in US Epic Games litigation

( August 6, 2025, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google has moved to dismiss an amended complaint brought against it and Samsung by Epic Games. "This lawsuit began as an alleged antitrust conspiracy between Samsung and Google about Samsung’s Auto Blocker feature," Google said in its motion to dismiss. "Epic has now voluntarily dismissed all Auto Blocker claims against Google, and before doing so, Epic filed the First Amended Complaint (Dkt. 95, “FAC”) to add four claims having nothing to do with Auto Blocker, any alleged conspiracy, or any alleged antitrust violation," Google added.See attached motion....
