Meta must face US privacy claim over Pixel tracking on tax websites

The judge found the plaintiffs have plausibly alleged that Meta used the Pixel to collect user data and rejected Meta’s argument that Pixel cannot be both a wiretap — which the judge previously found the plaintiffs have plausibly alleged Pixel to be — and a pen register.
