Brazil antitrust probe into Microsoft a 'hugely significant step,' Browser Choice Alliance says

"The Browser Choice Alliance has long highlighted the tactics so clearly outlined in this complaint. Microsoft uses dark patterns and manipulation, which limit user choice. And Microsoft uses ‘Jumpstart’ programs with OEMs to economically coerce them into not pre-installing competing browsers, which obstructs their market access," said Burrus, a former Microsoft attorney.
