I-MED, Harrison.ai, Annalise.ai won't be probed over privacy claims: Australian watchdog

( August 1, 2025, 01:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Australia’s privacy regulator has closed its preliminary inquiries against I-MED radiology Network, Harrison.ai and Annalise.ai, after concluding the diagnostic-imaging network had de-identified shared patient data sufficiently to ensure that it was “no longer personal information for the purposes of the Privacy Act.” In a statement, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner also said that I-MED had “processed the data using a number of techniques” and had imposed contractual obligations on Annalise.ai to protect patients’ privacy. “The Commissioner therefore ceased the inquiries and will not be pursuing regulatory action at this time,” the watchdog said in a statement. The inquiries were sparked by media reports in September 2024.The full report of the OAIC's preliminary inquiries is attached and the regulator's media statement is below: ...
