Aircalin undertakings accepted by regulator after antitrust complaints in New Caledonia

( July 31, 2025, 02:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Air Calédonie International, also known as Aircalin, has presented New Caledonia’s competition watchdog with behavioral undertakings in response to an antitrust complaint filed by the French territory’s association of travel agents in December 2024. In a statement, the Autorité de la concurrence de la Nouvelle-Calédonie said it had accepted the undertakings relating to the airline’s business practices after concluding that the practices raised competition concerns.
