Court decision allowing German government to use Facebook Fan Page published

( July 30, 2025, 08:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Cologne Administrative Court has published its decision confirming that the German government’s press office can continue to operate its Facebook Fan Page. The ruling backs the government and Meta in their challenge to a 2023 order from the Federal Data Protection Commissioner, which had sought to prohibit use of the page over alleged breaches of the GDPR. The DPA can appeal the ruling with the Administrative Court of Cologne within one month of delivery.Court decision attached....
