Roblox files reply in support of dismissing US claims in online gambling case

( July 24, 2025, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Roblox filed a reply in support of its motion to dismiss amended US claims accusing the online gaming platform of enabling and facilitating illegal online gambling by children using its "Robux" virtual currency, saying that many of the state laws on which the claims are based do not apply to Roblox. It said that the argument that Roblox broke the law by exclusively controlling access to virtual casino websites is contradicted by the allegations that other defendants owned and operated the sites and independently designed them to require users’ Roblox credentials.See attached file. ...
