EU joins forces with China on climate; calls for progress on trade (update*)

The two parties agreed to collaborate more closely on expanding renewable energy, developing circular economies, building carbon markets, and improving methane emissions management. But progress is still needed on trade relations, the European Commission said.The EU and China are joining forces on climate action, according to their joint climate statement published today during a summit in Beijing (see here)....
