Kodak fined EUR100,000 for non-compliance with UPC Fujifilm patent ruling

This action represents the execution of the court’s decision in April, when it said Kodak had infringed Fujifilm’s EP 3,511,174 relating to lithographic printing plate precursors in Germany. Kodak was found to have failed to provide information in time, failed to remove and recall products from the market, and failed to destroy them. The company received a lump sum penalty to be paid in two weeks’ time, and a fine of 2,500 euros for each day of non-compliance until Aug. 4.
