Esseco’s acquisition of Ercros conditionally cleared in Spain

( July 22, 2025, 08:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Spanish competition authority allowed the Italian chemical company Esseco to acquire its Spanish rival Ercros. The clearance, adopted after an in-depth probe, is subject to conditions, such as the termination of Esseco's exclusive supply agreement with Korean company UNID, a manufacturer of potassium-based chemical products.
