Malaysian antitrust agency fines three contractors for bid rigging

( July 9, 2025, 03:37 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Malaysia Competition Commission fined three contractors, Abadi Malaysia, Kota Lanskap and Usia Maintenance a total of 2.98 million ringgit ($700,450) for bid rigging offenses on six tenders issued by Perbadanan Putrajaya, the local authority for Putrajaya, the administrative center of Malaysia. The tenders were issued between 2018 and 2021 and were worth 45 million ringgit. MyCC Chief Executive Officer Iskandar Ismail said the tender documents were prepared by employees from different enterprises in a single location under the coordination of Abadi Malaysia and one of its directors.
