Request from oil producer EnCap for change to M&A settlement partly granted by US FTC

( July 7, 2025, 20:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Oil producer EnCap will no longer need to obtain prior approval before making any acquisitions of Uinta Basin waxy crude oil assets, as was originally required by its merger antitrust settlement with the US Federal Trade Commission. But they will still need to give prior notice of transactions to the FTC, according to an agency press release and revised consent decree.
