The transaction involves Vicsa, a Chilean distributor of industrial safety equipment, acquiring full ownership of Hospitalia, a local supplier of medical devices and disposables for public and private healthcare providers. The FNE concluded that the companies operate in distinct markets, with no horizontal or vertical overlaps, and that the deal poses no risk to competition.
