Copec-Falabella coffee deal under review in Chile

( July 4, 2025, 18:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Chile’s National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) formally launched its review into Copec's proposed acquisition of Promotora Chilena de Café Colombia, owned by Fabella and Promotora de Café Colombia. Following initial findings of incomplete documentation, the parties submitted additional information in May and June. With the notification now deemed complete, the FNE has initiated case F422-2025 to assess the transaction under Chilean competition law.See resolution in Spanish attached....
