China extends antidumping duties on EU, UK, South Korea, Indonesia stainless steel

( June 30, 2025, 09:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's Ministry of Commerce has extended the antidumping duties on stainless steel billet and hot-rolled stainless steel plates imported from the EU, UK, South Korea and Indonesia for five years, effective July 1, following an expiry review that began last year. In a statement today, the ministry said the duties range from 20.2 to 43 percent. The affected products are used as raw materials for cold-rolled stainless steel, which can be processed into further products or sold directly as final products for industries such as shipping, containers, railroads, electric power, petroleum and petrochemicals.
