HPE-Juniper deal can move ahead with divestiture, licensing commitments, US DOJ says

( June 28, 2025, 20:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- The US Department of Justice has agreed to drop its challenge to Hewlett-Packard Enterprise's acquisition of  Juniper Networks with conditions, the agency announced today.  The settlement requires HPE to divest its Instant On business and requires that the merged company license "critical" Juniper software to independent competitors, according to a DOJ statement.  A bench trial for the DOJ's challenge was set to begin July 9.See statement below....
