Flo Health, Google, Meta reproductive data privacy trial detailed in US judge's order

( June 27, 2025, 21:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A California federal judge has set out procedures for a trial set to begin July 21 in which Flo Health, Google and Meta Platforms are defendants on allegations that private reproductive health data was illegally shared from the Flo Health ovulation app to the two digital ad giants. US District Judge James Donato also ruled on 16 procedural motions, denying the defendants' request that the Supreme Court abortion decisions in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and Roe v. Wade not be mentioned, but granting their request that reporting by the Wall Street Journal about Flo's alleged sharing of data may not be cited during the trial "for the truth of the matters asserted therein."
