Google decision improperly ignored Ninth Circuit mandate, plaintiffs tell court

( June 24, 2025, 21:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiffs suing Google over whether it allowed Chrome users to give meaningful consent for the collection of their data when they weren't logged into a Google account have petitioned a US appeals court to consider whether the federal judge who handed a key litigation victory to Google this month improperly ignored an earlier appeal court's ruling in the case. Saying the ruling by US District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers was "in direct conflict" with the previous decision by the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the plaintiffs asked the  appeals court ruling to assign the same three judges to the case.See attached document....
