EU, South Africa seek deal on clean trade and investment partnership

Christina Miranda, a senior official at the European Commission, noted that the first round of negotiations took place last week, and the EU hopes to have a draft ready by the G20 Trade and Investment Ministerial Meeting in October. The EU held the first round of negotiations last week in an effort to complete the Clean Trade and Investment Partnership, or CTIP, with South Africa by November, said Christina Miranda, the Head of the Unit for African, Caribbean, and Pacific Countries at the European Commission at an event* yesterday....
