Thailand establishes AI Governance Practice Centre to guide ethical AI adoption

( June 26, 2025, 06:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Thailand is launching the AI Governance Practice Centre, or AIGPC, under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to serve as a regional hub for ethical artificial intelligence, industry training and policy collaboration. Announced at the 3rd UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of AI, the AIGPC will support knowledge-sharing on AI ethics and governance, develop training programs and introduce tools to track national adherence to UNESCO’s AI ethics standards. The initiative is part of a broader strategy under Thailand’s National AI Program.
