Autostrade fined in Italy for illegal use of employee’s data in dismissal case

The highways operator had used screenshots from these platforms — shared by colleagues and a third party — to justify disciplinary actions and the woman's eventual dismissal. The watchdog ruled the data was collected without valid legal grounds and that it violated the GDPR's privacy principles.
