US Small Business Administration comments on DOJ, FTC anticompetitive regulation RFIs

( June 20, 2025, 12:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Small Business Administration submitted comments to both the Department of Justice's and Federal Trade Commission's requests for information regarding anticompetitive regulations that raise barriers to competition, noting that Congress has long held that small businesses deserve special consideration in the regulatory process. The SBA took 20 recommendations from its members that it found to be responsive to the agencies' requests, ranging from regulations in the Department of Agriculture and certifications levied by the Department of Defense, to fee rules enforced by the Department of Homeland Security, and more. The SBA's advocacy outlet "is prepared to collaborate with the DOJ and FTC to achieve lasting and impactful results from this initiative, drawing on input from small entities across the country," the organization said.See attached document....
