US CBP says several importers evading duties on high pressure pipes

( June 23, 2025, 17:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Customs and Border Protection said there is a reasonable suspicion that several US importers are evading an antidumping and antisubsidy order on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe, along with certain oil country tubular goods, from China. CBP said it will now require the companies to submit documentation prior to importation. CBP will also suspend entries as appropriate and review bonds to those companies.Statement follows below.
