Hanna Holdings gets some US antitrust claims over broker fees dismissed

( June 23, 2025, 16:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiffs have plausibly pleaded a vertical agreement between Hanna Holdings and the National Association of Realtors and have put forth allegations sufficient to rebut Hanna’s arguments based in the rule of reason, according to a US federal judge. Hanna is accused of conspiring to fix prices for broker commissions. District Judge Wendy Beetlestone did dismiss claims regarding any horizontal agreement, saying that neither the existence of NAR broker commission rules, nor Hanna’s alleged role in promulgating them, is direct evidence that any prior agreements actually took place.
