Ericsson loses UPC stricter confidentiality bid in patent dispute with AsusTek

( June 20, 2025, 14:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson has failed in its attempt to impose an “external eyes only” confidentiality regime in its patent infringement dispute with Asustek Computer, Arvato Netherlands and Digital River Ireland. The Milan Local Division of the Unified Patent Court has rejected the request in an order, after finding that Ericsson had not provided concrete evidence of anticompetitive risk or distortion of competition that would justify excluding even a single designated employee of AsusTek from accessing sensitive licensing information.
