The survey, conducted among companies listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, revealed a striking contrast between firms that had previously been sanctioned for antitrust violations and those that had not. By updating its compliance guide, the JFTC urged companies of all sizes to beef up their antitrust compliance regimes, before being punished for violating the Antimonopoly Act.
