TikTok deadline for US divestiture extended again by Trump

( June 19, 2025, 16:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US President Donald Trump has once again pushed back the deadline for TikTok to divest from Chinese ownership in the US, issuing an executive order that moves the deadline for divestiture to Sept. 17. "During this period, the Department of Justice shall take no action to enforce the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (the "Act") (Public Law 118-50, Div.
