Philippines' privacy regulator seeks public input on influencer data handling rules

The proposed rules aim to address rising privacy risks in digital content, including consent, transparency, the legal basis for data use and handling of deletion requests. The initiative is part of the commission’s mandate under the Data Privacy Act to align local practices with international standards.
