Ticketmaster, Live Nation seek dismissal of US suit over Snowflake data breach

( June 18, 2025, 23:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Live Nation and Ticketmaster have filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit accusing them of mishandling customer data compromised in a Snowflake Inc. breach. They argue that the exposed data isn't sensitive as it comprises contact information like names, phone numbers, email and physical addresses and Ticketmaster did not store card verification value codes in the Snowflake environment. "In short, there was no information involved in the Data Incident that could cause plaintiffs any harm or warrant any legitimate anxiety."See attached motion....
