The transaction includes $11 billion in new investments from Nippon Steel into US Steel by 2028, a golden share for the US Government, a promise that the US Steel board will have a majority of US citizens and that US Steel will remain headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, among more stipulations.
