Food-analysis labs in Turkey fined for cartel conduct

( June 17, 2025, 14:50 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Turkish food-analysis laboratories Kalite Sistem, Veltia and Southern Agricultural Services Tarım have been fined for agreeing to fix fees and exchange competitive sensitive information, the national competition authority said today. Kalite Sistem was fined more than 1.3 million lira (around $34,000), Veltıa almost 680,000 lira, and Southern Agricultural Services Tarım almost 360,000 lira. But the watchdog couldn't prove that two other laboratories — Çevre Endüstriyel Analiz and Radix Analiz — had breached antitrust rules.Statement follows. ...
