'Back-to-school' product deals could harm competition, Irish watchdog says

The watchdog advised primary and post-primary schools to use generic uniform items and to avoid tying themselves to exclusive suppliers. Schools should also regularly review their arrangements with specific suppliers to make sure that the latter offer the best mix of price and service.
