US plaintiffs oppose LiveRamp move to dismiss privacy claims

( June 16, 2025, 23:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiffs suing data broker LiveRamp over its extensive data-collection activities told a federal judge he must not grant LiveRamp's motion to dismiss their claims, saying "LiveRamp’s arguments ignore the well-developed jurisprudence in this Circuit recognizing that the surreptitious aggregation and commercialization of vast quantities of personal information can constitute a serious invasion of privacy, even where individual data points might be publicly available or not otherwise protectable."  See attached document....
